From what I’ve seen in my years of experience, I can confidently say that having a non-judgmental, therapeutic space to explore your life can immensely improve the way we deal with ourselves and others. I started my own practice, because I love that I get to be a part of that process with my clients as we work toward and achieve their goals.
We don’t always create the time to reflect on our life and understand our internal struggles. Therapy is a consistent, allotted time to address your concerns, create new goals, understand how experiences interrelate to current functioning, recognize and utilize your strengths, and create strategies to manage and fulfill your life. Throughout this evolution, I am here to provide ongoing support as we navigate your life together.
Our sessions are scheduled weekly for 45 minutes during a designated day and time and are personalized to meet your needs. We will spend time understanding what led you to seek therapy, specifically identifying crucial life experiences and their impact as well as mental and behavioral patterns that are ultimately creating barriers in your life. We will also focus on the here and now as a proactive means to move you forward as you develop meaningful insights and self awareness.
I have an eclectic, strengths based approach primarily utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic and Psychoanalytic Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Solution Focused Therapy.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker originally from California. I moved to New York City after I graduated from the University of Southern California with my Master’s degree in Social Work. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Cognitive Psychology from the University of California, Irvine. I have worked mostly with adults struggling with depression and anxiety from an array of backgrounds, ethnicities, and sexual orientations. I am a compassionate, empathetic, analytical, and knowledgeable therapist ready to work alongside you.
